Auction of Dame Felicity Lott's costumes and gowns
International soprano, the late Dame Felicity Lott, donated her cherished gown collection to be auctioned in aid of Friends of Sussex Hospices
Only weeks before her cancer diagnosis just over a year ago, Dame Felicity Lott, decided to sell her wonderful collection of costumes and concert gowns to raise funds for FSH - a charity she had supported as a patron for over 20 years. Little did she know at the time that she would be calling on the help of one of those hospices later that year.
Another of the charity’s patrons, auctioneer and TV presenter Tim Wonnacott, enlisted the help of Kerry Taylor of Kerry Taylor Auctions, the world’s leading auction house specialising in exceptional fashion, who will auction the gowns in London on 13 October. The auction house has generously agreed to waive any commission so that all proceeds from the sale will go to FSH.
